I am thrilled to be selected as one of the 55 outstanding Howard University School of Communications alums as the school celebrates its 55 years! I have lived my life as a communicator following the motto that the former Dean, the great journalist and TV host Tony Brown, drilled into us from day 1 of freshman year—Communicate to Educate to Liberate! That will always be my North Star. Looking forward to a wonderful reception at Homecoming, Oct. 16, with the other honorees. Telling the Story and Shaping the Culture. More to come…
