Society for Military History Presentation

I made a presentation at the Society for Military History Conference in Mobile, Ala., on 3/28/25.  So nice to see my Casemate Publisher’s team—David Farnswoth, Publisher/Owner, and Ruth Sheppard, my principal editor, who were vendors at the conference (lower left).  We were later joined at the table by Andrew Morse, Executive Director of the Society of Cincinnati, and Thomas Lennon, Director of the American Revolution Institute (upper left).  It was such a fortuitous treat to meet the Pulitzer-Prize winning author Andrew Lawler (lower right), author of the latest fabulous book on Lord Dunmore, whose relationship to my great-great-great-great grandfather, Squire Dunmore, is going to be part of my next book.  Andrew was a panelist with me, and he spoke about his book, A Perfect Frenzy:  A Royal Governor, His Black Allies, and the Crisis That Spurred the American Revolution.  I told him his book was on my nightstand as the next to read.  We are definitely staying in touch!
